This question sparked the creation of Village Campervan. Our mission is to redefine travel and living through innovative campervan kit design. We aim to inspire a lifestyle that prioritizes freedom, adventure, and personal fulfillment.
Our Story
Hi, I’m Sylvain, founder of Village Campervan and a former banker turned adventure enthusiast.

Growing up in a small town on the East Coast, I’ve always had a deep connection with the outdoors. After moving to Calgary In 2018 to pursue my career in banking, I've been captivated by the nearby mountains, which fueled my passion for campervan travel. Like many, my wife and I wanted the freedom of van life but were shocked by the high cost of pre-converted vans. Determined to build our own, we quickly realized how challenging the DIY process could be.

Over the next four years, I worked with a great team, converting and restoring campervans as a passion to help people join the movement. During the early stages of converting vans, I explored the idea of manufacturing easy-to-install campervan conversion kits, which quickly became the core vision behind Village Campervan.

With the support of my design and production team, we turned that vision into reality, making van life more accessible and the conversion process simpler for everyone. We've focused on perfecting layouts and designs, testing many kits on different cargo van models, to make sure we have the best kits available on the market. Now, we operate out of our facility near Calgary, to build the kits I wish we had when we started.
Our mission is simple: to offer an affordable, high-quality solution for those seeking freedom and adventure.
